Our boys played well, and the game was pretty even for 38 and a half minutes. St.Laurence bagged a pair in the last minute and a half to take away the happy ending.
Thanks to the parents who supported the Indians all year!
We started out playing pretty well, trailing 1-0 at halftime. Then the visitors turned chippy, and our guys spent more time trying to win the scrums than the game. The end result was a tough lesson learned.

The Indians worked their way to a lead, squandered it, and then brought the crowd to its feet with a dramatic double overtime win on yet another cold Friday night.
Homewood scored in the final seconds of regulation time to edge Lemont 4-3. Lemont Coach Tom Haggerty was pleased with his squad's work ethic, calling it "the best team effort of the year". HF's coach, Dominic Palumbo, deserves huge credit this evening for teaching every player on the field a life lesson. Here's what happened.
